Haydon Enterprises buys Kerk Motion Products

Hollis, N.H.-based Kerk makes high-precision lead-screw assemblies, slides, linear rails, and actuators.

Waterbury, Conn.-based Haydon manufactures high performance fractional horsepower linear actuators, lead screw assemblies, rotary stepper motors and hermetically sealed switches.

It is a subsidiary of St. Louis-based Harbour Group, which owns a number of motion control, lubrication, abrasives, cutting tool manufacturers and tool distributors.
