Haydon Enterprises buys Kerk Motion Products

Haydon Enterprises acquired Kerk Motion Products Inc. for an undisclosed amount.Hollis, N.H.-based Kerk makes high-precision lead-screw assemblies, slides, linear rails, and actuators.
“This acquisition presents significant benefits to our global customer base,” Haydon CEO Bernard Dubois said. “We will be able to leverage the finest aspects of each company to present an even greater value proposition to our customers. By sharing best practices across our product development and manufacturing organizations we will also enhance our technological leadership.”
Waterbury, Conn.-based Haydon manufactures high performance fractional horsepower linear actuators, lead screw assemblies, rotary stepper motors and hermetically sealed switches.
It is a subsidiary of St. Louis-based Harbour Group, which owns a number of motion control, lubrication, abrasives, cutting tool manufacturers and tool distributors.
