Valley National Gases buys N.H. Bragg’s gas & welding business

Bangor, Maine-based N.H. Bragg’s gas and welding operation distributes industrial, medical and specialty gases and welding equipment and supplies.

It’s the fifth acquisition in ten months for Valley National, which also said it is moving its headquarters from Washington, Pa., to Independence, Ohio.

“Valley National Gases is committed to continuing our strategy of growth through selective, high-quality acquisitions in regions that complement our operations. This acquisition blends very well with our recent acquisition of Advantage Gases & Tools (Portland Welding Supply) and will enhance our service capabilities throughout the state of Maine, CEO Michael Ziegler said.
