PT/MC product sales rise in February

United States distributors’ sales of power transmission and motion control products in February rose 11.6 percent compared with January and 6.7 percent compared with February 2007, according to the Power Transmission Distributors Assn.

Canadian distributors’ sales rose 10.1 percent compared with the previous month and 1.1 percent compared with February of last year.

PT/MC manufacturers’ U.S. sales also rose, increasing 8.5 percent compared to January 2008. Canadian manufacturers’ sales rose 6.8 percent compared with January.
