Acument Global Technologies buys fastener manufacturer

Acument Global Technologies Inc. acquired Saturn Fasteners Inc. for an undisclosed amount.
Burbank, Calif.-based Saturn makes threaded fasteners for the aerospace industry. The company has about 100 employees.
“The Saturn team’s strong focus on customer service and quality make the company a key component of Acument’s re-emergence as an aerospace threaded fastening supplier,” Acument North America vice president and general manager Martin Schnurr said.
Troy, Mich.-based Acument, which manufactures mechanical fastening systems and solutions, has roughly 8,500 employees in 17 countries.
