ProBuild buys Ohio distributor

Columbus, Ohio-based Khempco manufactures and distributes building materials. The company has a lumberyard and truss facility in Delaware, Ohio, a truss plant in Dry Ridge, Ky., and a commercial door facility in Columbus.

“The addition of Khempco fortifies ProBuild’s position in the Ohio market while strengthening our manufacturing and installed sales capability. Khempco’s trading area complements ProBuild’s existing coverage, allowing our customers to benefit from the availability of additional products and services Khempco has to offer,” said Dale Kukowski, president of Denver-based ProBuild’s north region.
