Waxie Sanitary Supply buys Asplund Supply

Auburn, Wash.-based Asplund, which has locations in Seattle and Wenatchee, Wash., and Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Kenai, Alaska, will be led by Waxie general manager Mike Midas.

“We are excited about our new locations in Washington and Alaska with the acquisition of Asplund and feel this will give us a stronger position in the marketplace,” Waxie president and CEO Charles Wax said. “We want to link Asplund’s tenured employees and local knowledge with our technology and proven success in the industry and look forward to the strength it will bring to our Pacific Northwest team.”

San Diego-based Waxie has more than 800 employees and locations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Colorado.
