Diversified manufacturer acquires Vitronics Soltec Corp.

Illinois Tool Works Inc. acquired the parent company of Vitronics Soltec Corp., a manufacturer of equipment, software and services for printed circuit board soldering, for an undisclosed amount.

Stratham, N.H.-based Vitronics, which has affiliates in Oosterhout, Holland, and Suzhou, China, and service centers in the United States, Holland, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea and Shanghai, will operate under its own banner as a wholly owned ITW subsidiary in its power systems and electronics division.
