Ratcheting cutter

-- Industrial Distribution, 4/1/2008

The BigFoot ratcheting cutter provides improved power and stability to electricians while they cut copper or aluminum hard-drawn cables. The design allows the electrician to firmly plant the cutter on the ground along with the cable they are cutting and push down on the other handle, reducing the stress when cutting large cables. Quick release action simplifies blade back-out; hardened steel blades achieve precision cuts. The compact device can be used in confined spaces, such as utility splice boxes, manholes and trenches.
