A self-aligning bearing with a wall thickness of just 3 mm requires minimal installation space, and is light and compact. The mini plain bearing requires no lubrication and adapts to all angular misalignments. The housing and spherical ball liner absorb variations differently to steel: the rotational, swiveling and oscillating movements of the self-supporting shaft take place within the spherical cap, which has a dampening effect.
