Bearing lubricants

Ideal for general purpose, high-temperature applications

-- Industrial Distribution, 4/1/2008

The Metcar Grade 2500 and Metcar Grade 9800 lubricants for bearings and thrust washers are treated with a specially formulated oxidation inhibitor for increased oxidation resistance without sacrificing self-lubricating properties. Designed for operating temperatures between 700–1,000°F, Metcar Grade 2500 is ideal for general-purpose, high-temperature applications in which conventional lubricants would break down and fail. Metcar 9800 addresses extreme temperature installations between 1,000–1,100°F, such as furnaces, dryers, high temperature conveyors and dampers.
