The National Assn. of Electrical Distributors' 2008 National Electrical Leadership Summit is scheduled for May 17-21 at the San Francisco Marriott. The event marks NAED's 100th anniversary.

This year's show will feature two strategic planning booth sessions, a pair of general sessions and an international panel of distributors that will address the threats and opportunities facing the global marketplace.

In addition, Sarah Miller-Caldicott, great grand-niece of Thomas Edison and author of “Innovate Like Edison,” will present a workshop on “success thinking.” Performance artist and painter Jean Francois Detaille will entertain attendees with his “action art” show.

The closing event, NAED's Centennial Celebration & Awards Banquet, will feature the multi-platinum rock band Foreigner.
