Eriks Group buys German plastics and rubber products maker

The Eriks Group acquired Schmitztechnik GmbH, a German manufacturer of plastics and rubber industrial products, for an undisclosed amount.

The Mönchengladbach, Germany-based company employs 15 people and has annual sales of roughly $8 million. It sells its products to the OEM, MRO, food, pharmaceutical, energy and mechanical engineering markets.
