Eriks to buy Dutch PT distributor

The ERIKS group agreed to acquire Dutch power transmission products distributor Wielens Beheer B.V. for an undisclosed amount.

Groningen, Netherlands-based Wielens, which had sales of about $32.5 million last year and employs 70 people in nine branches, distributes electromechanical power transmission products to the Dutch MRO market.

The deal, which increases Eriks’ reach into the Dutch PT market, is expected to close early next year.
