The National Assn. of Wholesaler-Distributors will hold its annual Executive Summit Jan. 29-31 at the Fairmont Washington Hotel in Washington, D.C.
This year's Executive Summit—with the theme “What the Best Distributors Do”—will feature several educational sessions conducted in a panel-discussion format, with emphasis on audience participation and feedback.
The discussions will be led by Adam Fein of Pembroke Consulting, Neil Gholson of Deloitte Consulting, Brent Grover of Evergreen Consulting and Mike Marks of Indian River Consulting Group, among others.
Panel members will include Bob Dill, president of Hisco Inc.; Chip Hornsby, Group CEO, Wolseley plc; and Pat Larmon, president/CEO of Bunzl Distribution Inc.
The NAW will issue its Economic Forecast for 2008 at the summit and has scheduled a public policy segment during which Washington insiders will analyze business issues that could impact distributors.
Attendees will hear comments from Stephen Moore, senior economics writer for The Wall Street Journal.
In addition, Rich Lowry, editor of National Review, will analyze the upcoming election year and give his thoughts on likely winners and losers in the presidential campaign.
