HD Supply names new head of White Cap division

HD Supply named interiors business president Tom Lazzaro president of its construction supply business, White Cap.

Lazzaro will lead both divisions, the company said.

Former president Brian Etter is leaving the company to become CEO of an international motor sports company.

“Brian’s vision and leadership has built the HD Supply White Cap business into the distant number one, nationwide construction supply distributor it is today. We thank him for his years of excellent service and wish him well in his new role,” CEO Joe DeAngelo said. “HD Supply White Cap is in excellent hands with Tom. He is a proven leader, and I’m confident he will intensify the positive momentum of the business.”

HD Supply ranked second on INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBUTION’s 2007 Big 50 list of distributors, with 2006 sales of $12.1 billion.
