Parker Hannifin picks up a pair of manufacturers

Parker Hannifin Corp. acquired pneumatic products manufacturer Kay Pneumatics Ltd. and aerospace components maker Shaw Aero Devices Inc.Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Milton Keynes, United Kingdom-based Kay Pneumatics, known as KV Automation, makes pneumatic valves, cylinders and precision electro-pneumatic control systems for the transportation, semi-conductor, medical and industrial markets. The company has operations in the United States, Spain, France, Netherlands, Thailand, China and the United Arab Emirates and posted sales of roughly $43 million last year.
Parker’s aerospace division acquired Naples, Fla.-based Shaw Aero Devices, which makes safety-lock, flush-mounted fuel and lightning safe caps, fuel system components, lubrication and hydraulic system equipment and water and waste components for the commercial and military aerospace markets. The company had sales of $45 million last year.
