The Tiger-tec line of cutting materials is ideal for every steel turning requirement from roughing to medium machining operations to fine finishing. Two new grades, WPP01 and WPP05, provide efficiency at top cutting speeds with good machining results. A special carbide substrate and an improved aluminum oxide layer help prevent plastic deformation and cratering. With sharp cutting edges, the WPP01 grade is designed for finishing work. The WPP05 grade is designed for medium machining operations and roughing and is effective at top cutting speeds and stock removal rates.
