Heavy duty torque arm

Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 10/1/2007

The heavy duty torque arm features a pneumatic cylinder to assist movement of heavier tools to improve production efficiencies and product quality. The arm limits the operator's influence on the assembly process and reduces operator fatigue. The torque arm securely maintains tool location while allowing easy, smooth movement of assembly tools in both up-down motion and 180º side-to-side motion. It also helps absorb torque to reduce the potential for operator injury to arm, wrist or hand. It can accommodate both inline pneumatic and inline electric drivers with maximum weights of 15 lbs. and maximum torques of 110 in.-lbs. and mounts easily to bench tops using bolts or an optional bench clamp. The arm also features a tool holder for a full grip of the driver with no pinch points and a dial regulator for easy resistance adjustment.
