Welded fastener

Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 10/1/2007

The Poppit welded fastener has an integral instant demount feature for trim, panels, moldings and signage. The two-part, ball-and-socket assembly consists of a circular, perforated steel baseplate with a steel ball welded to its center. A separate, matching head, molded in polycarbonate, incorporates a socket with three strong jaws. When the two parts lock together, the ball joint allows swivel action. Each 30mm Poppit resists a pull of over 5 kgs. A 20mm version with 4 kgs capability is available.
