The Econo-Heat Model 2928-B is a high-temperature furnace for sintering ceramics and glasses and heat-treating metals up to 2,350°F. It is an electric furnace with interior chamber dimensions of 13 in. x 13.5 in. x 8.75 in. The exterior shell is made of stainless steel sheet metal and four inches of insulation to guarantee a low skin temperature. Heating elements are recessed to provide even heating, longer life and easy replacement. Accurate to ±2%, the furnace uses 240V, 1 phase, 15 amp service. Ideal for metal heat treating, tempering and hardening; ceramic firing; glass annealing; powder metallurgy; ash determinations; and assaying.
