The Pipeliner line now includes 6 new stick electrodes, the 7P+, 8P+, 17P, 18P, 19P and 20P. The 7P+ and 8P+ are cellulosic electrodes recommended for root, hot, fill and cap pass welding. They are designed for use in all position welding, featuring high stacking efficiency in difficult vertical down and out-of-position applications. The others are low-hydrogen electrodes for fill and cap pass vertical up welding, recommended for DC+ use. Each electrode is designed for different grades of pipe ranginf from 17P-20P and produces x-ray quality welds, superior arc performance, easy slag removal and outstanding mechanical properties.
