Gas monitor

Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 4/1/2007

The Gasmaster toxic and flammable gas monitor is a wall-mounted device that displays all gas levels simultaneously on a large, multilingual LED display, allowing full system status checks at a glance. The device monitors up to four channels, with two levels of alarm per channel, interfacing with virtually any combination of flammable and toxic gas detectors and oxygen and fire detectors (smoke, heat or flame). All alarms and faults are recorded in an event log, which can be accessed regularly to assess risks on-site. Analog outputs and RS-485 digital communications allow the control unit to be connected to PLC/DCS/SCADA systems, a PC, a chart recorder or data logger. An integral 85dB multitone alarm is provided with standard equipment. A standard battery backup ensures continual protection even if main power fails
