ISA to meet in Vegas May 20-23
Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 4/1/2007
The Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas is the site of this year's Industrial Supply Conference and Trade Fair, hosted by the Industrial Supply Assn. May 20-23.
This year's keynote speaker is James Bradley, author of the best-selling book “Flags of Our Fathers,” which chronicles the story behind the famous photograph of Marines raising the American flag on Iwo Jima. The book became an Oscar-nominated movie, directed by Clint Eastwood, released last year.
Other speakers include sales consultant Richard Flint, who will present “Breaking the Cycle of Sameness.” In addition, Paula Giovannetti, ISA's director of e-business, will speak about “Making Business Sense Out of E-Business.”
Once again, ISA will feature its Internet-based scheduling system—FastMatch—to help suppliers, distributors and independent manufacturers' reps schedule Trade Fair appointments in advance.
ISA president Steve Short said the group will build on the momentum of last year's meeting in San Antonio.
“In San Antonio, we introduced innovative new ideas designed to improve the use of your time and the return on your investment,” he wrote. “I'm pleased that for Las Vegas, we've kept the best of these and, based on your input, made several significant enhancements.”
