Metabo’s combination kit is ideal for industrial and construction applications

Metabo Corp. has introduced a four-piece, 18-volt cordless combination kit, which includes a drill/driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw and flashlight.

The BSZ 18 cordless drill/driver is ideal for a wide variety of construction and industrial work including drilling, tapping, and driving screws, and provides up to 549 in.-lbs. of torque, plus 20 torque settings and a drill setting, with forward and reverse modes. It features Metabo’s spindle lock for one-handed bit changing using a ½-in. keyless chuck, as well as an ergonomic, rubber-coated T-handle with a built-in clip that holds a screw driving bit. It uses a smooth gear change mechanism with 3-level planetary gears to extend tool life, and features a built-in fan to help keep the motor cool under load.

The KSAP 18 cordless 6 ½-in. circular saw is ideal for cut-off and ripping lumber up to 2 1/8-in. thick, and has a safety lock switch and an integrated dust extraction port.

The ASE 18 cordless reciprocating saw delivers 0 to 2,700 strokes per minute, with a stroke length of 1 in. The saw is 19 1/25 in. long and weighs 7.7 lbs.

All three tools utilize Metabo’s patented air-cooled battery system to increase performance and keep the tool working longer. The charging system cools both the battery and the charger, keeping the battery at the optimum charging temperature.

The combination kit includes all three tools, a flashlight, an AC30 charger, two 18-volt 2.0 Ah Ni-Cad batteries and a heavy-duty carrying case.
