NIBA awards scholarshipsNIBA–The Belting Assn. has awarded this year's scholarships to David Ravelle Reed II of Lake Charles, La., son of Sue V. Reed of Lake Charles Rubber & Gasket, and Melody Wallace of Evans, Ga., daughter of James Wallace of Richmond Supply Co.
As an integral part of the association's not-for-profit charitable philosophy, it offers two $2,000 scholarships each year to college students for a business-related course of study. The scholarships are available to children of NIBA distributor/fabricator member company employees, but the funds may be used at any college or university. NIBA's Education & Training Committee selects the recipients. NIBA also offers three $1,000 scholarships to employees of distributor/fabricator member companies.
Next year, the association has pledged to double the amount of the two college scholarships, increasing them from $2,000 to $4,000.

Each page provides detailed information on regulatory compliance obligations, plus tips and resources for creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for employees in that area. Additionally, there are direct links to various compliance resources, such as regulatory summaries, white papers, sample programs and plans, frequently asked question documents, and checklists.
