NEW LINE OF HAMMERS ABSORBS VIBRATION
Four new solid steel hammers featuring the company's Shock-Blok vibration-absorbing core in the hammer head have been introduced by Vaughan & Bushnell Manufacturing.
The U.S.-made steel hammer line includes a wallboard hatchet, a shingling hatchet, a hand drilling hammer and a series of five new ball pein hammers. In addition to the Shock-Blok wood and rubber insert in the head, the hammers provide a slip-resistant grip handle.
The 14-oz., 14-in. Steel Drywall Hatchet features a 1¾-in. cutting edge and Vaughan's "Flat Head" striking face for close-in corner nailing.
The 14-oz. Steel Shingling Hatchet offers a 1¾-in. cutting edge for lath and shingles and a retractable and replaceable blade for asphalt and composite shingles. The tool also offers a 30-hole overlap gauge and a nail-pulling slot.
The 3-lb. Steel Hand Drilling Hammer is designed for striking metal tools such as star drills, cold chisels, brick chisels and punches, and features a broad, oversized striking face for striking power.
The Steel Ball Pein Hammers offer a full-polished head and face and are available with head weights of 8, 12, 16, 24 and 32 oz.
