Bosch expands application-focused reciprocating saw blades

Bosch has expanded its application-focused professional reciprocating saw blade line to 60 blades in demolition, heavy and standard user categories. The new line specifically addresses these three basic user categories, and to help make the selection process simpler, it has expanded its user-friendly color coding and labeling system to gray for wood; blue for metal; white for all-purpose and wood with nails; dark blue for demo; and black for specialty application blades.

The expanded demolition blade line offers the thickest blade body at .062 in., adding stability, durability, and smoother cuts. An aggressive 2×2 tooth geometry includes the alternating set of two tooth sizes and reinforced teeth for greater cutting efficiency. The heavy blade line's 2×2, progressive and variable tooth patterns allow each blade to perform at optimal speed and durability levels. Thicker and taller blades provide straighter cuts with less vibration and long life. The standard blade line offers a thinner, more flexible solution; is perfectly applicable in wood, wood with nails, all-purpose and metal cutting jobs; and uses thin and flexible blades that cut fast.
