PDFs pop in 3D

Kaon Interactive, a provider of interactive Web-enabled applications to improve marketing and sales, announced the introduction of Kaon 3D PDF, a solution that brings 3D interactivity to sales and marketing documents in Adobe Portable Document Format.

The program allows sales and marketing professionals to deliver to customers an interactive product experience, all within the standard format for electronic documents. Built as one of the delivery formats available from the Kaon Advisor platform, Kaon 3D PDF changes the landscape by providing customers with a unique hands-on experience with a product. The result is a more effective communication about a product's benefits and features, which engages customers with full product interactivity directly within a document format that they are accustomed to, and with which most business professionals are comfortable.

Within Kaon 3D PDF, users can manipulate the model of a product to any angle, zoom in or out, move the image, open compartments, and remove parts and compartments. This combination of visual and textual information is a proven learning method that increases retention and dramatically enhances the perceived value of products. Kaon offers many unique capabilities, including the ability to dynamically change the appearance of a product, such as showing different color options, or varying configuration options. Also included is the ability to measure distances.
