Hitachi Power Tools' new ¾-in. impact wrench, the WR22SA, produces a class-leading torque of 450ft.-lbs. and features the company's patented Internal Double Insulation (IDI) technology. Designed for the professional, the WR22SA offers the power to accomplish the most demanding fastening applications with comfort and ease.

With a powerful 7.5 amp, 850 watt motor, the WR22SA leads its class in torque, which saves time and energy, and generates 1,800 RPM and an impact rate of 2,000 IPM, making it more capable to overcome stubborn fasteners and get the job done. The wrench is ideal for tightening and loosening nuts and bolts. It also is useful when assembling scaffolding, installing electrical equipment, plumbing, HVAC installation, and other various fastening applications.

The armature is seated in aluminum, not plastic, which will withstand the high heat and stress resulting from extreme use. It is constructed using IDI, which enables the aluminum housing to be intertwined with an injection-molded inner nylon core. This technology combines the durability of an all-metal body tool with the double insulation advantages of tools with plastic housings, which improves tool reliability, safety and greatly extends tool life.
