The National Fastener Distributors Assn. has relocated its headquarters to Chicago to partner with SmithBucklin Corp., an association management company.

The NFDA Board of Directors explored options for managing the association in an effort to build NFDA's membership and strengthen its networking and education values.

"Our goal is to build on the association's solid foundation and support its strategic growth and goals," said Peter Sullivan, president of NFDA.

With the relocation of NFDA's headquarters, Karen Hurley takes over as the group's executive vice president.
