Enhancing labor efficiency

RedPrairie Corp. announced that its Workforce Performance Management solution was selected by UTi Integrated Logistics to optimize labor productivity across selected customer sites. For competitive advantage, logistics providers like UTi strive to create and add value to their customers' supply chains. RedPrairie's WPM solutions will enable UTi to improve labor efficiency by increasing throughput and reducing cycle times, while minimizing costs. In addition, the WPM will provide ease of integrations to UTi's customers' warehouse management systems, as well as the multi-language and worldwide support capabilities that the company requires.

UTi's management team will use data from the system to provide employees with fair and accurate feedback to help them better analyze how to improve job performance. RedPrairie also provides change management to help employees adjust and transform cultural expectations. Finally, it provides assistance in developing and implementing employee incentive programs as a way to drive even greater productivity improvements.
