LEVITON EXPANDS THE BOX LINE OF PORTABLE POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTERS

Leviton Manufacturing Co. has expanded its line of The Box portable power distribution centers with the addition of two new cost-effective models for applications where GFCI protection is not needed for every connection.

Ideal for a wide variety of temporary power needs such as portable power needed at construction sites, emergency power distribution and trade shows, The Box is UL-listed for outdoor use, and is fully OSHA compliant. The solid construction and rugged, reinforced steel frame of The Box assures reliability and long life in even the toughest field conditions. The Box offers seven weather-resistant receptacles; a clear porthole for easy viewing of the trip status of circuit breakers; and a weather-resistant 50 Amp power cord of either a 50-foot or 100 foot length. All GFCI receptacles provide advanced open-neutral ground fault circuit interrupter protection.

The new PB101-000 model includes one 50-Amp 125/250 Volt supply inlet; one 50 Amp 125/250 Volt feed-through outlet; six GFCI protected NEMA L5-20R 20 Amp/125 Volt locking receptacles; and one non-GFCI protected NEMA L6-30R 30 Amp/250 Volt locking receptacle. The PB101-SGF model includes all the same features plus GFCI protection on the 30 Amp receptacle as well. The new PB103-000 and the PB103-SGF models are configured similarly to the PB101-000 and PB101-SGF, but come with 20 Amp/125 Volt straight-blade receptacles instead of locking.
