All platforms, all the time

Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 9/1/2005

The Business Integration Suite Application Server Edition (BIS/AS) is an advanced enterprise application integration solution that runs on major 12EE commercial application servers such as IBM WebSphere, SAP NetWeaver and Oracle 10g. Released by SEEBURGER, Inc., the new edition is designed to streamline business operations and lower costs by simplifying the process of integrating disparate legacy systems, packaged applications and enterprise applications.

The system eliminates the need for hard-coding that has traditionally inhibited cross-enterprise application integration projects. The new edition extends SEEBURGER's adopted BIS platform from Windows to Unix and Linux environments; supports synchronous messaging, enabling fast application connectivity via Web Services and Service—Oriented Architecture; and allows detailed process design with the application's process management tools.
