Series 40-FPV freeze protection valves operate mechanically, using a temperature-sensitive thermal actuator with stainless-steel piston; feature a 175 psig maximum operating pressure and maximum operating temperature of 180 deg. F; resist corrosion; available with either a 1/8-in. plug or a 1/8 x 1/4-in. female Apollor test cock; also include a 1/4-in. male pipe thread inlet port and a discharge port that accommodates a 5/8-in.
