Industrial Evolution announced the acquisition of the WEB*VMI Inventory Management Service business from Philadelphia-based ChemLogix LLC.

Industrial Evolution is an Arizona-based company that enables real-time collaboration between manufacturing companies through the collection, Web visualization and transfer of live real-time data from customer manufacturing locations.

WEB*VMI provides live and immediate access to inventories throughout the supply chain, increasing supply reliabilities while taking costs out of the supply chain. In a typical WEB*VMI deployment, inventory data is collected from customer sites in real time into the Industrial Evolution Data Center, combined with proprietary forecast calculations, and displayed on a secure Web page for authorized user access.
