Safety Week slated for May 15–17
Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 4/1/2005
Safety Week 2005 will be held May 15–17 at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, Colo., just outside of Denver. The meeting brings together the four major safety equipment associations in North America: the Safety Equipment Distributors Assn., the International Glove Assn., the Safety Equipment Manufacturers Agents Assn., and the Canadian Glove Manufacturers Assn.
The conference is designed as an educational and networking opportunity for safety equipment distributors, manufacturers and manufacturer representatives. The program includes two days of seminars, one-on-one manufacturer-distributor executive conferences, table-top displays, networking receptions, and a golf tournament.
Speaker topics include Inventing the Future with futurist Robert Tucker; tips on training your sales force in "Coaching for Sales Success" with sales expert Tom Reilly; a look at "The New Supply Team—Working Together Electronically" with well-known industry consultant Steve Epner, and tips on "Improving the Bottom Line" with Al Bates of the Profit Planning Group.
Conference planners say Broomfield is the perfect location for the event, as it's just 25 miles from the Denver International Airport and close to the cities of Boulder, Golden and Denver, with views of the Rocky Mountains.
