Stuck, stubborn, damaged and broken screws, nuts and bolts are easily removed with IRWIN Industrial Tools' Power-Grip extractors, products designed to reduce the frustration associated with removing problem fasteners. The Power-Grip extractor requires just one step to remove stripped-out screws: the user places the extractor firmly around the stripped bolt or screw and twists the tool in reverse.

"Other similar tools require people to follow directions that include as many as 19 steps," says Mike McCalley, senior product manager at IRWIN. "[The extractors] are designed for ease of use, versatility and jobsite durability."

The Power-Grip extractor's reverse spiral flutes are designed for maximum gripping power to remove raised-head bolts, nuts and screws. Its universal lobular head design fits both metric and SAE-style fasteners, helping avoid wasted time, even if the damage makes it almost impossible to determine the style of the fastener to be removed.

The extractors feature high carbon steel construction for longer life and greater durability; a larger diameter high carbon steel shank that resists torsional shear; a convenient power groove in the shank; and is packaged in a seven-piece set.
