Going from paper to electronic
Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 2/1/2005
DDi System, LLC, a provider of software solutions for mid-size to smaller hard-goods distributors, announced an electronic document archival solution aimed at distribution supply houses that are cluttered with paper documents. DDi's Electronic Document Scanning solution enables distributors to digitally file customer purchase orders, customer payments, job submittals, project drawings, vendor packing lists, and accounts payable invoices.
"Our new Electronic Document Scanning solution drives costs out of the operational flow in a distribution business," says Adam Waller, DDi founder and president. "With this...solution, distributors' expenses will decrease due to the lessening need for filing and retrieving paper, and important documents will be readily available on the DDi system, improving employee workflow."
