The Construction Specialist debuts
Welcome to The Construction Specialist, a supplement to Industrial Distribution and other Reed Business Publications
By Jack Keough -- Industrial Distribution, 10/1/2004
This supplement, which will be published six times in 2005, is being sent to more than 16,000 construction distributors and more than 1,100 purchasing professionals employed at the largest contractors in the country.
Reed Business Information, one of the largest business-to-business publishers in the country, and the parent of INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBUTION, has more than 20 magazines that focus on the construction market. You're probably familiar with many of these publications, such as Professional Builder, Professional Remodeler and a host of regional publications.
THE CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST will be drawing on the content of those publications, as well as exclusive articles developed by our staff, to deliver the most up-to-date information on the construction market.
In addition, we'll publish exclusive forecast information from Reed Construction Data, one of the largest providers of construction data in the world. RCD will be providing economic information on national forecasts, regional construction information, new home building, major projects being put out to bid, and what you can expect to see happen in the construction industry during the months ahead. This is an exclusive service provided by RCD for THE CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST readers.
We'll tell you what specific construction markets are "hot" and where the dollars are being spent. Our staff will profile leading construction distributors, keep you up-to-date with the latest construction news, offer selling tips, and describe the latest new products in the marketplace.
Thanks to our sister publications, we'll also point out what buyers are looking for when they purchase products from distributors, and how you can adapt your company to changing economic times.
We want this to be your publication. As a construction specialist who is targeting a specific market for your products, you need information to help you more profitably run your business. We want to make sure we provide that information.
Please e-mail me your comments, suggestions and any story ideas you have for THE CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST.
Watch for our next issue, which will be released in February, 2005. We're proud to bring you this custom publication.
