Best Software announced the availability of new versions of Peachtree Premium Accounting for manufacturing or distribution as part of the Peachtree 2005 product line.

The products, targeted to small distributors and manufacturers, provide companies in both industries with business management tools to achieve short- and long-term goals, and are the entry step for both into the Best Software family of products. The two products combine distributor- and manufacturing-specific functionality with the market-proven base of accounting tools.

Some of the new software's features include: serialized inventory tracking and advanced purchasing tools; an analysis feature that displays graphs for at-a-glance reference; UPS OnLine Tools; and automatic creation of purchase orders from stocking levels.

Both products also feature in-depth reporting capabilities, with more than 145 report formats each, plus Crystal Reports for Peachtree, which offers virtually unlimited opportunities for thorough operations analysis.
