Online diagnostics

By Staff -- Industrial Distribution, 5/1/2004

Old Saybrook, CONN.—ALL-TEST Pro, a division of BJM Corp., introduced the ALL-TEST Pro OL, one of the first motor current signature analysis systems to utilize a hand-held, lightweight data collector, making it unnecessary to carry a PC to the test site.

The system evaluates the electrical and mechanical health of an AC or DC motor and its driven load, as well as incoming power quality. The unit does not require entering nameplate data before data collecting. This can be done after the testing and before the analyzing. Running speed and pole pass frequency are found automatically, and the software automatically determines if bearing problems exist.
