Charlotte, N.C. —Danaher Motion, a manufacturer of motion control products, introduced Motioneering application engine version LE. This free Windows-based motor-sizing program takes a project approach to selecting Superior Electric brand stepper motor and drive products and systems. More than 300 step motor and drive system combinations are included.

Motioneering LE allows users to model their machine from one of multiple mechanisms, such as leadscrew, rack and pinion, conveyor and nip rolls, within a project folder. Additional features include multiple motion profile options, color-coded search results for easy product and system selection, a system performance curve to illustrate load requirements, and a unit preference and conversion tool for mechanism and motion profile entry. Motioneering LE also includes a browse feature with complete product descriptions and detailed performance data.
