Newton, Mass.—NAHAD–The Assn. for Hose and Accessories Distribution will host its 20th Annual Meeting in Phoenix, April 24–28. Held at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa, the convention will show attendees how to take advantage of the increased business activity indicated by recent economic optimism.

Meeting highlights will include ServiceMart Exhibits Sunday and Monday, a 20th anniversary Old West welcoming reception Saturday night, manufacturer- and associate-sponsored hospitality suites Sunday, the manufacturer and associate contact table program on Tuesday, and a cocktail reception followed by dinner and dancing Tuesday evening.

Sunday's opening ceremonies will feature a welcome speech by Michael Armbruster, NAHAD president, titled, "Two Decades of Service," and a presentation by keynote speaker Jeffrey H. Gitomer, author of The Sales Bible and The Patterson Principles of Selling, on "High Performance Sales–It's Not the Price, It's the Relationship." Gitomer will moderate a panel discussion on his speech topic that afternoon.

Monday's activities will include the NAHAD Standards Committee presentation: "Maximizing the Use of the Hose Assembly Guidelines," featuring a select team of NAHAD board members, including Sam Foti, Jr., Joe Lark, Steve Gray and Dan Ahuero; NAHAD's annual meeting of members; and a presentation by Dr. Al Bates, founder and chairman of Profit Planning Group, titled "Maximizing Distributor Profitability."

Tuesday will feature the Contact Table exhibits, as well as a special session presented by Afterburner Seminars.com titled, "Flawless Execution–A Fighter Pilot's Secret to Business Success."

The ServiceMart exhibits, ResourCenter and NAHAD Institute will be open Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
