An update on our Web site
Jack Keough -- Industrial Distribution, 3/2/2004
If you haven't visited our Web site in a while (www.inddist.com), you might want to click on over and see some of the changes we've made. The site was redesigned a few months ago, and since then we've made some additional changes. One of our highest-read sections is called "Channels" and is located on the upper left-hand side of the page. The Channels contain articles and news specific to 19 different product groups.
Also on the site is our ID store, where you can purchase our 57th Annual Survey of Distributor Operations, product-training manuals and a number of other industry-related items.
You can view the latest issue of INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBUTION online, and access a series of online exclusives that can be viewed only on our home page. We've also developed a "Reader's Choice" section that lists some of the top-read stories of the previous week. In addition, we encourage you to provide us with feedback with our "Reader Survey" button at the top of the page.
You'll also notice a registration button for our "Driving Sales Beyond" seminar, to be held in Schaumburg, Ill., May 6. ID is sponsoring the seminar in conjunction with Fourth Generation Systems headed by Dirk Beveridge, a nationally known sales training expert. The one-day seminar is aimed at sales management personnel. During the event, we'll present an hour-long session on the latest trends and issues affecting the distribution channel.
You may want to subscribe to our e-mail newsletter, as well. One click of your mouse and you'll get a bi-weekly update on the latest industry news. Since we started sending out this newsletter, subscriptions have tripled.
And because Industrial Distribution is part of Reed Business Information, the largest business-to-business publisher in the country, we have access to many articles in our sister publications that also can be viewed online.
If you have comments or questions about our Web site, e-mail newsletter or other online features, please e-mail me at jkeough@reedbusiness.com. As always, we welcome your input.
