Powers Fasteners' Trak-It gas fastening system

Fast, light and balanced, Trak-It is one tool for all trades

The Trak-It gas fastening tool from Powers Fasteners is significantly lighter, faster and more reliable than competitive gas tools. Powers' goal is to open the market to more pin types, more applications and more contractor trades. Tradespeople such as electricians, mechanics, sheet metal and general contractors can use the tool either directly, or with StickIt assemblies.

Trak-It weighs only 8.24 lbs., and that 1-lb. lighter difference in tool weight is considerable when thousands of shots are made, and especially when shooting overhead. The newest technology in battery life and fast charging means a whole day of shooting, about 5,700 shots per charge, on one battery and 1-hour recharge. The battery snaps on the back so contacts click into place without wearing, and it cannot be put in backwards. Fixing the infrequent pin jam is easy, by the manufacturers' latch on the tool's nose, which can be opened instantly. The tool's easy-glide track allows for faster loading time without a hang up; and the narrow nose shoots hat-track. Trak-It pins, available in ½ in. to 1 ½ in., are patented, collated strip and rolled point pins that reduce jams and penetrate hard concrete and steel with less friction than competitive pins. Multiple pin lengths also can be shot without changing the tool. The tool also has been made with perfect balance.

Powers' Stick

It assemblies that snap directly into the tool's barrel without a probe, special nose piece or adaptor, include a strap washer, pipe clip, rod hanger, rebar clip and lathing washer.

Two batteries are included in every Trak-It kit, and a 1-year unlimited warranty is standard. Powers Fasteners, www.powers.com Enter 201
