Atlanta— FacilityPro and Datastream Systems, Inc. announced an alliance agreement in which the two companies will work together to provide customers with an integrated procurement and asset management capability. Under the agreement, and as part of FacilityPro's Procurement Center of Excellence, FacilityPro will automate the procure-to-pay process for joint Datastream and FacilityPro customers through Datastream 7i Buy.

FacilityPro's Center of Excellence solution lowers the cost of maintenance, repair and operating parts and services through the use of expenditure analysis and strategic sourcing best practices. Datastream 7i Buy is an integrated procurement network that helps streamline purchasing and procurement processes by providing access to more than 200 leading industrial suppliers.

"With Datastream 7i Buy, customers can plan work, track parts usage, manage stock levels and replenish stock via the Internet — all from within their asset management software," said Greg Jackson, vice president of Datastream.
