The newest additions to the Carborundum Premier Red^™ line of flap discs include extra thick wear-away plastic-backed discs made with zirconia alumina and ceramic abrasives. The plastic backing wears away with the abrasives to extend the disc life.

The Carborundum line of Premier Red flap discs includes conventionally thick and extra thick FatBoy^™ flat, Type 27 discs, as well as concave-angled Type 29 discs. The new plastic-backed discs are available in Type 27 discs with 7/8-in. center holes.
