Two new Klein-Kurve™ wire stripper/cutters hit the streets

Klein Tools has introduced two new Klein-Kurve™ wire stripper/ cutters designed for stripping and cutting 10/2, 12/2 and 14/2 Romex® cable. In addition, the tools cleanly shear 6-32 and 8-32 screws, as well as strip, cut and loop 10,12 and 14 AWG solid wire.

The Klein model #K1412 has 14- and 12-gauge precision-ground stripping slots for quick removal of the outer jacket of 14/2 and 12/2 Romex-type NM-B non-metallic sheathed cable. It also strips, cuts and loops 12 and 14 AWG solid wire.

The Klein model #K1210 has 12- and 10-gauge stripping slots for 12/2 and 10/2 Romex cable, as well as 12 and 10 AWG solid wire.

Both strippers have holes to shear 6-32 and 8-32 screws.

The wire stripper/cutters feature double-dipped comfort handles to provide a more comfortable, cushioned grip for all-day use; easy-to-read wire gauge markings located on both sides of the tool; and precision, staggered cutting blades. Designed with a narrow nose to fit into confined areas, the wire stripper/cutters are flat for easy carrying and storage. The tools' serrated nose jaws aid in bending, shaping or pulling wire. The tool also features a closure lock and a spring-loaded, self-opening action for easier use.
