CHERRY HILL, N.J. Tom D. Ralls, 2003-04 Fluid Power Distributors Assn., president and chairman of the Board, and president of Hyspeco, Inc., died June 13 after a battle with cancer.

Elected President in March 2003, Ralls was an active member of the FPDA's Board of Directors and served on its executive committee. He also chaired FPDA's Products and Technologies Committee and was a strong advocate for the FPDA's Young Executives (YES) program.

The FPDA Board of Directors has established a scholarship in memory of Ralls; it will fund tuition for a qualified member of the YES program to attend the University of Industrial Distribution. Visit www.fpda.org for more information.

Ralls is survived by Jean Chasey Ralls, his wife of 27 years, his two children, Jeff and Jill, and his mother.
