BOSTON – In June, INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBUTION was honored with a Gold Award from the Eastern Region of the American Society of Business Publication Editors. The award recognized ID's Associate Publisher/Editor Jack Keough for two editorials written in 2002.

Keough's editorials, "Some things never change," April 2002, p. 17, and "A failure to communicate," November 2002, p. 15, were winners in the "signed editorial" category. The awards were presented during a ceremony at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, Mass., on June 9.m
